The owner / operator team at All Marine Charters have more than 35 years’ experience providing exceptional liveaboard charters to a diverse array of clients, including government and non-government agencies, universities, mining, environmental and exploratory companies. The majority of our scientific and research charters were conducted in the remote and sometimes difficult marine conditions surrounding Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Torres Strait Islands, with several charters made on Australia’s north-eastern Cape York region.
Specific charters we’ve been involved with include the first ever coraline species study off Long Island, PNG (a joint study by James Cook University and Maine University) and a volcanic study through the Bismark Sea by Dr Simon Day of the University of California. Our team and the MV Miss Rankin were also the charter boat supplier of choice for Nautilus, looking for sea vents through the Bismark Sea, and Fugro and the Scottish Association of Marine Science, looking at seabed tailings for Lihir and Missima. Other work we have supported with charter service includes, but is not limited to, Multi beam bathymetric survey, CTD / Hydrographic Survey, sampling to 3,000m, sediment trap deployment and recovery, plankton net deployment, equipment recovery and deployment, support vessel duties including community liaison work and general environmental work.
At All Marine Charters we have the experience and capacity to ensure that when you choose our Cairns liveaboard research charter vessel for your charter, we will ensure our service enables the successful completion of your objectives.
