All Marine Charters is owned and operated by Tony and Lorraine Collins. This hard working, skilled team ensure that each personalised charter is a success, leaving every client satisfied. They are flexible in approach and can customise the charter to meet project requirements. Lorraine handles the administration side of the business and is an excellent communicator. Tony prioritises safety and comfort on the boat and cultivates a happy and relaxed atmosphere onboard. Team work makes the dream work.
Tony Collins is a highly experienced and professional vessel Master and Engineer, with more than 35 years’ of maritime knowledge, often in remote areas and under difficult conditions. He started as a skipper for Paspaley Pearls out of Darwin and Broome, before starting his own successful business in Papua New Guinea. He has a Master <45m Skippers Licence and Engineering MED 2 certificate and is very mechanically minded. In addition to his extensive skipper experience, Tony is adept at offering practical solutions with safe and efficient outcomes.
Lorraine Collins has a PhD in Science (Plant Pathology). She is an adaptable, resilient professional with a comprehensive background within the scientific research and diagnostics arena. She has extensive experience in running a dive liveaboard boat up in Papua New Guinea, from leading dives to ensuring client comforts and requisites are met. She has consistently met client specific project requirements in an approachable but professional manner.
Prior to moving their family and boat to Cairns and starting All Marine Charters, Tony and Lorraine Collins operated a highly successful liveaboard dive business – Blue Sea Charters – out of Madang, Papua New Guinea on the MV Miss Rankin. From there, Lorraine, Tony and his two brothers and their families, joined forces to establish Collins Shipping Limited in 2006. This company provided a diverse array of marine services, working with government and non-government clients, including mining, research, academic and environmental companies, across the waterways of Papua New Guinea and far northern Australia. Individual family commitments saw Collins Shipping Limited separate, with Tony and Lorraine moving to Cairns with their children and starting All Marine Charters. This professional team are extremely passionate about providing a quality customer service and have the capabilities and capacity to assist you with a range of marine charters and services. Rates are competitive and service is flexible and exceptional.
